Worst Lebenese food in Ottawa. Worst food I’ve ever had, potatoes weren’t fresh, was warmed up in the microwave, donair meet was cooked in the microwave. what is that for a Lebanese restaurant. When going to a restaurant at noon you would except some fresh and tasty food.its very very over price. Was my first time and will be the last time. Don’t understand what people see in that place.

Terrible Chicken Salad. Fattoush has to be one of my fav dishes to get for lunch. I decided to try Alissar today for the first time. It will be my last time. Almost $14 for a small chicken salad compared to what you get everywhere else for that price. The salad itself has waaaay to much dressing and the salad is almost moushy because it sits in dressing all day. The chicken portion is very small for $14. I will not be returning to Alissar for anything. Over priced for crappy food

Middle East of Ottawa. Hassan is entertaining and very accommodating. Food is excellent, especially choice in ingredients and flavored sauces. I’m lucky I live close bye and can visit frequently. Free parking all the time. Try it for yourself! His prices are very competitive with every other place in the city, so reviews about pricing above are bogus.

Rip-off, Rip-off. They are charging $7.50 plus tax for a medium chicken sandwich when you can buy it any where else for $4.25. Taking advantage of people is a very short way to bankruptcy. I paid $17.00 for two sandwiches full of veggies AND A LITTLE BIT OF CHICKEN when every one else is charging $10.00 WOW THAT’S TO MUCH????????? I’LL NEVER GO BACK.

Fantasic food and service 🙂 Alissar mix platter was huge and very tasty.

Sandwiches underfilled, overpriced, underwhelming. The chicken here is very bland and they skimp on the size. I came here because I was bored of everything else around the area. Looks like I’ll be sticking to the usual places.Quantity, Quality, Price, you can usually get two of these redeeming qualities, but this place fails on all three.
