I have been to many Afghan restaurants in Ottawa, however Ariana Kabab House is one of the worst restuarent I have ever been to, fist tables are dirty we asked the waitress to clean the table and she use a very dirty towel it was full of rice. Second food that came out from the kitcken the waitress would put them infront of people who wants to pay that was just disgusting . PEOPLE CAN TOUCH THE FOOD BEFORE YOU SERVE IT TO THE CUSTOMER THATS DISGUSTING. (When food comes out of the kitchen it should be served right away and NOT PUTTING THEM INFRONT OF OTHER COSTOMER WHO WANTS TO PAY). Third the plates where dirty we had to ask the waitress for another plates and she was giving us attitude. We didnt feel welcome, we felt disgusted and upset with this kind of service.

Let me begin by saying that this is the first afghan restaurant I’ve been to, so I can’t comment on the authenticity. However, the quality of the food is very, very good. I’ve been a few times and tried both their entrees and wraps, and I’ve never been disappointed. If you’re looking for a hearty, casual, and reasonably priced dinner or lunch option, look no further!
They did a major decor uplift to the restaurant which definitely changed the ambiance of the place. A bit crapmed but not too bad.Onto the food: the chicken breast or the beef kabob is always seasoned very well and it pairs well with their sauce. They also have very nice Naan.Catering: I’ve catered from them twice now; the first time was very pleasant so I did it again. However the last time they were very cheap with the quantity I felt like if we were to go the restaurant we would get more food. They have a minimum of 20 person which we did even though we only had a party of 15 but each kabob was cut in half or so and it was definetly not enough for even 15. Sadly, won’t ever be catering with them again.
Disappointed.. Friendly entrance but my food was poorly seasoned and was slightly raw inside.Was hoping for a change of food but was disappointed. I won’t be returning again.
Delicious food, authentic, service with a smile and generous portions. The gold standard of Afghan kebab houses in the city!
