I go quite often to this place whether it’s with a friend or a large group I’ve always been satisfied with the food and service. The food is always fresh and very tasty. Service is friendly and attentive. Decor is very modern looking and ambience is quite nice and relaxing too. On lazy days I order for delivery. Food arrives fast, hot and delicious!!! This place is a must try if you like Asian food!!!

Open rice is shockingly fancy when you walk in. I felt a bit underdressed. The prices were still good in the 12-14 $ range for a dish. I got the ginger beef and my fiance got the Orange beef (we have similar tastes it seems). Both dishes had great sauces and quality meats. I’m not normally a huge veggie lover but I felt like the ginger beef could have used slightly more. But that’s really my only complaint. This made for a nice date night and I would go again.

We went to this restaurant late one evening. The decor and ambience was wonderful but the food not so. I also didn’t like eating Chinese food on small rectangular flat plates though they were funky looking. It’s harder to blend or mix the rice with the saucy foods. Also no chopsticks were provided. Just as well as picking up the food would have been tougher with such flat plates. Please offer small bowls for Chinese food! Perhaps we chose the wrong dishes. But every dish was too sweet. i disliked every dish but my son and daughter law liked the flavor some of them. They also felt the dishes were a bit too sweet though but they were starving!. Also the servings were rather small. We wanted Chinese so we chose: orange beef , general Taos chicken and coconut red curry vegetables. I right away asked if the dishes are sweet as I prefer only savory ones… We were told they were not sweet. The chicken ( about 7 small pieces ) in a dark brown honey sweet sauce was crisp and tasted like caramelized sugar encrusted chicken… The orange peel beef had a nice ( slightly sweet) flavor initially but there was so much peel that it tasted a bit bitter. Still this was the only dish I ate as the sweetness was not too pronounced. The coconut sauce on the veggies must have had at least two spoonfuls is sugar as the sweetness was like that of a ‘double double’ of a Tim Hortons coffee. And I like spicy food but these were not spicy at all. Not even the kimchee pickle ( which I liked) Perhaps they are catering to what they think are North American tastes? The service was nice! Did I say the servings are small?? The three dishes with rice and kimchee and only water to drink came to 54$ that included a 15% tip. Next time I will get take out from New Town. Or I will try a buffet if they have such. Their website seems to cater to take out service so I am not sure when they are open. (My son would have rated it 3 and I 1. So we compromised at 2)

I was very pleasantly surprised. How can one restaurant have so many different ethnic types of food and still be good. Well they pulled it off. The food had lots of flavor and was cooked to perfection. Start with the Papaya salad and the rest will surprise you!

Good first impression…only that.. Nice decor for a new restaurant. Very contemporary atmosphere. Menu looked interesting and initial service was OK. Food arrived and that is when it all started to go downhill. We found the food to be quite salty and oily. Also, seems like there was maybe a sale on MSG. We were so thirsty after the meal. Owner seemed unhappy that we used a Groupon for the food. Why offer a Groupon when they are unwilling to accept it without showing some attitude? Anyway, we were hoping for a lasting impression and well, this is our first and last visit to the restaurant. If only the owner can make a first good impression into a lasting good experience.

I have been to eat here over 10 times and the food is always great!! The last two times the music has been a real turn off. This past time they was constant swearing in the music. Needless to say, they obviously don’t want to be a family restaurant. I may go back but only for take out.
