Service was excellent. We went for the Endless Shrimp promotion. It’s okay, not that great… our favourites were the garlic shrimp and breaded shrimp. We noted that the shrimps are quite small.I did not like the coconut habanero shrimp. It was overly sweet, killing any flavour of shrimp. Teriyaki shrimp was meh, and we didn’t want to load up on pasta for a shrimp event.Biscuits are good but I don’t think this is good enough for us to go back in any case.
Go there often, I love the food and service. I ask for 1 server his name is Jason and he rocks the joint, always witty and in a great mood. Is proactive instead of reactive, and the GM Dan is great. Would recommend this place on Merivale road to everyone.
A place I go to quite often with my family. The waiting time is usually quite long since it’s so crowded, but that’s expected. Their buttery scones are so salty. It gets me unbelievably thirsty before I’ve even gotten to the meal. The linguine is also very salty. On top of that, the sauce is quite heavy and makes finishing the meal a true struggle. I had their Berry sangria and was quite disappointed since it tasted horrible. The appetizers are the highlights. They are well seasoned and cooked to perfection. This place is a little too expensive for its quality and sometimes the servers seem to be in a bad mood throwing the forks and spoons down at us instead of placing them gently. I am debating whether or not I should ever return. The ambiance however, is enjoyable.
Nostalgia Brought Me Back. Well, i hadn’t been to Red Lobster since I was a wee lad. I still held fond memories of popcorn shrimp and the toy treasure chest at the end of the meal.Mussels were rubbery as all hell, lobster was over cooked. Fried items were alright and those god damn cheese biscuits were still excellent after all those years. The skinny of it, if you know what real sea food is ( East or West coast) than this is not the place for you.Oddly enough you could get a dram of Oban for 8 bucks which is a steal really.
Ate here for my first time, found it to be very good. It’s well priced and the service is good. It’s a sit down fast food seafood restaurant so don’t expect anything more. Recommended for all seafood lovers.
Great service. Our server was Miles, very friendly. Have not had bad service the handful of times been here. The lobster artichoke dip is seasoned perfectly such good flavours. Had the grilled shrimp with rice and brocolli for lunch and it was great, just the right amount. Burgers are even tasty. Usually have the crab legs for dinner and they are always well done, my boyfriend loves the lobster and garlic shrimp. Very atypical of a chain restaurant.
Had salad, crab legs and shrimp. Love the interior, lots to look at and great service, friendly waitress. Will return! Wonderful experience!
