I used to love going to Red Lobster. Although the service is always excellent, I think the food has worsened in the last years. I had a special platter with shrimps, potatoes, scallops and some crab. The shrimps were very small and salty. The potatoes were so soggy it was like they’d been cooking for a week. The plate wasn’t very warm either. I am very sad it has become like this.
We went for a large(10) family dinner on a Saturday at 4 30 and still had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table.Should be a good sign right?Not so much.I had the Admirals Feast and it was easily forgettable,looking rather sad and served lukewarm.My wife had a combination of steak and crab legs and it was mediocre at best.The rest of our table had mixed reviews.All in all I wouldn’t come back for the food.The service was decent and I can’t fault it but the servers didn’t have to eat what they served.
