We went there expecting an experience like st Hubert or Swiss chalet. We were dead wrong. We were a family of 4 with two small toddlers. A server only came to our table after having waited more than 10 minutes. Salad bar produce was all welted and aged. It all looked 3 days old and tasted the same. Our kids food came without their drinks or ketchup and it took 5 mins to flag down another server to get ketchup. Their milks never came nor did their dessert. Our meals came almost 15 mins after our kids and my ribs were completely cold. I sent them back and waited 10 mins for new ribs which were fine. Nothing about this place is comparable to Swiss chalet or st Hubert. We were offered no compensation for the poor service or cold food or lack of my kids milk and dessert that is included in the price of their meal. We will never return!
Worst restaurant experience ever. We found stickers on our veggies which hadn’t been removed during the prep phase. Not, once, buttwice! !!! Once we alerted our server, we were basically ignored throughout the rest of our meal. Restaurant staff pointed at our table whispering behind their hands. This is not how a complaint should be dealt with. Our meal was not discounted nor anything offered to us other than being ignored. To top it off, when we got home, we both came down with the runs. …you’re better off starving than going here for a meal.
Good for what it is. I am a Swiss chalet girl myself but my fianc loves st Hubert’s, so we tried Scores. The chicken was good, a bit greasy but so is Swiss chalet so it’s what I’m used to. The mash was great and the sauce was surprisingly good. I LOVED the ice cream desert. So all in all I was impressed
Absolutely terrible…. There were three of us in our party and we all swore we would never eat there again. The chicken was dry and bland. No flavour. The second meal steak looked like they had backed a Mac truck over it. It was so small we thought it was a sampler. To be fair our server warned us. The third was Chicken Parmesan. Don’t let me go there. When I was a kid my mother opened a tin of spaghetti. They added another tasteless dry piece of chicken and added some rubbery cheese. And the so called salad bar.. Ohhhh please don’t let me go there…
I will never come here again. Terrible food, terrible customer service. I recently came to Scores for dinner with my family. I wanted to have a nice night out, treat my wife and my two kids and have a good time. Our server, Melissa, was distant and rude (completely the opposite of what I’d expect in a waitress). I’ve been to many restaurants in my time and never have I ever experienced such terrible service. Food would have been a lot better too, if it hadn’t been cold.Experience was less than satisfactory. We won’t be back.
Never again!!. We were seated in a quiet restaurant, and ordered when we asked if we could. One of us had the soup and salad bar, one had the ribs. After trying to eat a bowl of soup without a napkin I got up and fetched cutlery and napkins from the server station myself. The barley vegetable soup was fine, as was the salad bar. The chicken noodle soup was liquid salt with an afterkick of something REALLY spicy. The ribs must’ve been from one of those new pets, micropigs, as we’d never seen smaller ribs, less than 2 inches long each. It made Swiss Chalet ribs look huge. Good thing the plate was full of frozen fries. There was NO service, no refills of drinks, no asking how things were, and after asking for the bill we got up like every other table there and paid at the server station. All this with the owner’s son at the seating podium. Dessert was a piece of chocolate cake literally thrown on the table as our wonderful server Brenda walked away. This cake was very much like a freezer burnt McCain Deep and Delicious. Needless to say it went uneaten. Don’t bother with this one, go to Swiss Chalet or St.Hubert, they look like 5 stars in comparison!
Refrigerator cold ribs. I ordered ribs and they arrived refrigerator cold!!! Not lukewarm but literally refrigerator cold! I finally found a staff member to take it back to the kitchen to warm it up. When she returned they were now barely lukewarm on one corner but she disappeared before I could ask her to warm it up more. I was hungry so ate the cold meal. The manager later didn’t deny that they were just warming up previously cooked food. I suspect they don’t cook any food fresh at this location. I was offered a free dessert that I didn’t want but no reduction on the price of the meal. If you like rewarmed leftovers, this is the restaurant for you!
