Pretty disappointing. I’d heard from a few friends that Danny Mac’s was a great place to eat. Unfortunately the food was less than appetizing. Service was fast & helpful but the food was bland. I had the fish & chips. Decent fries but the fish had little flavour. It wasn’t battered like a traditional pub style but breaded with Panko bread crumbs maybe? No seasoning on the fish or breading. Without the tartar sauce it would have been inedible. The carrot soup tasted watered down and bland. Neither a string carrot nor creamy taste. The daily special crepe (chicken, peppercorn) was lacking in both taste and texture. Seemed like both the chicken and the crepe were pre-cooked and reheated. The waitress took the crepe off the bill because we couldn’t even bear to finish it. I wish it was better. Sorry Donny Mac’s, I won’t be back.
Really like the menu! So different then the surrounding area. Kind of small and wouldn’t want to be there on a busy night, but food is well done. I personally am a picky cook and I enjoyed it small things got me but nothing that would upset anyone else. Fantastic food I will be back.

Too loud, too overpriced. Hubby had the $13 clubhouse – not a clubhouse (3 layers). Just a plain, small piece of bland dry chicken breast, undercooked bacon, lettuce, tomato on a plain panini type bun. Blah. I had the special: cajun shrimp w linguine – that was not linguine, more like spaghettini. Shrimp was good but not enough of it, especially for the price of $17. The crowds in such a small place made for a disturbingly loud experience, probably the loudest pub I’ve ever been in. Not exactly a conducive atmosphere for enjoying your meal, so we took it to go. This could be a fun place to go for a group of friends and drink beer on a Friday night, but not for a couple wanting to enjoy a nice meal at the end of a long hard week. Even if the noise level was tolerable, we will not be back. The food is just not that special for the price.
Very delicious and services very good, just ask if you want something not bugging you
Great food and beer list!. Danny Macs is our favorite spot to go and have an informal, yummy meal. Highly recommended!
