The service was very accommodating of our group of 6 walk-in. The food leaves a little to be desired. Any pub should be able to execute a good fish and chips, and both orders were overcooked. Beef dip is generous in portion, but the jus lacks depth of flavour. Beer is fresh.
I have to say that I have not been to this restaraunt in several years due to the same concerns listed in the other reviews. Went tonight to meet an old friend with several others because they chose the place. I wasn’t expecting much to be honest. We were a group of around 8, and the service was friendly and efficient. They were very busy on the patio, but where our waitress wasn’t available, the others stepped in to ask of we needed anything. We all shared several dishes off the menu, such as calamari, grilled and also a fried variety, Caesar salad with chorizo sausage, nacho with house made guacamole, and some wings. Not one fault could be found in the preparation of any of the dishes. They were flavorful and well presented. Prices were better for this food than the crap they used to serve. Interesting choices too. Truffled fries, potato leak dritters, fish tacos etc. One other patron said they cleaned house with the management and kitchen, and it seems to have been a good idea. Well done, nice evening, I will be back.
