My personal experience. This is the 2nd time I came here. Probably the last time too. I knew the food wasn’t amazing but becausee its close to my house I decided to try it again. Because they have a great lunch deal for AYCE (12$) I decide to go for it as it would have been cheaper. As soon as I ordered the lady inmediatly started to count the pieces written down and tell me I should order less because you know there s a charge of 1$ per piece…mI mean , helllo…its on the freakin menu and this is not my first time in a sushi restaurant! Her tone was very rude and threatening, I dont even understand how is thia business still alive. The food is shitty as well. But again, you get what you pay for…. Great places I reccommend: Tomo sushi, Maple sushi and Golden Maki.

We are a family of four and attending for lunch. 3 adults (10.99 per person) had the lunch buffet and one child had a deluxe buffet (comes with salmon sashimi). We order too many salmon sashimi for my child by accident and we are almost finish lunch, I decided to help her out because we hate wasting food, she came to our table and yell at us and wanted to charged me $18.99 (deluxe adult price). Instead she charge $3.50 per salmon sashimi I ate. I understand their policy but my child is only 8! Oh and they charge tea for $2! Never coming back here.
Very upset with the service, sure it cheap but the staffs are very strict and unfriendly. If you do drop a food on the table and do not want to eat it l, they charge you. If you don’t like the specific food, they charge you! Worst, they charge you for tea for $2 which they never told you about. I would not recommend this sushi buffet for anyone and I would not come back. Horrible!
My wife and I have been regulars at Sushi Huang for over two years, having moved to Aurora in 2011. We’ve tried many different AYCE places throughout Newmarket, Aurora, and Toronto/GTA and always remain faithful to Sushi Huang. In terms of value, quick service and quality you can’t get much better than them. The sushi is always fresh, the price is very reasonable, $10.99 lunch, $16.99 dinner, which remain the same on weekends/holidays. The restaurant is small, and not fancy, and the menus aren’t exactly aesthetically pleasing. However, it’s a pretty diverse menu. I’d recommend the Green Dragon Roll, Salmon Cream Cheese roll (Philly), Snow Dragon and Dynamite. The rice itself is always warm, and I’ve never received a cold roll, unlike many of the other places been to. The Beef Teriyaki is at times a bit fatty, but very tasty. Miso soup and seaweed salad are great here. The coconut shrimp is also a great appetizer on their dinner menu. Overall, when I’m looking for sushi that’s fresh, as consistently good, I go to Sushi Huang.
Absolutely love this place. Whenever my family and I decide to go out for sushi Huang’s is always the place we go. Food is always fresh and the staff is friendly enough and the price can’t be beat for dinner! 16.99$ and an amazing selection!
