We just had the most delicious tasting and beautifully decorated cake. Everyone asked where it was from. It was from here.Layers and layers of delicate moist carrot (!?!?!) cake, with the most delicate fluffy icing in between.I normally hate carrot cake and honestly, I could have eaten 1/4 of this cake myself. This says a lot about the quality and taste. What we couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was. The cream cheese icing and cake itself was so light and fluffy, you never get that with a carrot cake. It was decorated so beautifully. Everything was so well done.Others who have been here have said it’s a great bakery, they have wonderfully tasting treats and said we need to try the hazelnut cookies and gingerbread!I know where I’m going. Coconut cream pie. This bakery does an amazing job of so many things. It has been in operation for over 25 years and remains popular for good reason… quality and value. My ultimate favorite is the coconut cream pie. Breads and muffins are also excellent and they custom make some beautiful cakes. Well worth a visit when I am north of the city.
