The place has a wonderful aroma of fresh bagels. The decor has something to be desired. It should have a facelift as it hasn’t changed in years. The bagels were warm, soft and mouth wateringly delicious. They were worth the visit. The customer service has something to be desired. I found the cashier curt and rude. I have recently relocated back to Orleans so I have been reintroducing myself to my old haunts. The bagels were Amazing. But I was put off as the shop does not do credit card-only cash and debit card. SERIOUSLY?Won’t be bothered to return even though the bagels are to die for….
Disappointed, while the bagels were delicious, the customer service is lacking. I had to wait while the two employees were chatting and after a few minutes I asked if we can actually order. Now, I could have gotten over the wait, what I found disconcerting was the employee who was serving us with waist long dreadlocks, who did not have them covered or in a ponytail, so everytime she moved forward to get the bages from the toaster, to get the cream cheese, etc, her hair would be just above, if not touching the bagel she was preparing. Every once in a while she would reach over and flip her dreads back but they would immediately resume their position above the food while the bagel was good tasting, I must admit that with every bite I feared finding a piece of long hair. We will not return!
