The food was good and very fresh. The all-you-can-eat lunch menu did not have all the dinner options so if you want something specific, it is worth it to make a phone call. The place has a nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and efficient. They forgot one of our dishes but when we reminded them, they kindly got it for us. Great place!
Good food bad service. Service is crap and the servers are usually snobby and don’t care about you with the odd exception . Still go there for the food but other reviews are right u rarely get everything u order and when they think uv had enough they start to ignore you .
Aji Sai. Ali Sai has been our favorite family restaurant since it opened. The food has even gotten better over the last year, especially the fried foods. However, we were disappointed at the dirtiness of the restaurant the last few visits. The restaurant needs a good cleaning including the dirty women’s bathroom. It makes you worry about the state of the kitchen and food prep. It’s disappointming.
Unfortunate. We ate an early dinner Saturday afternoon and had the worst experience we’ve ever had. We’re newer to Barrie and looking for a decent sushi place. The service was horrendous. We were ignored at the door, not giving a menu while the 2 other parties after us had their drinks and got the worst attitude from ALL of the waitresses. The food was ok… Nothing spectacular, new or interesting. So needless to say, this will not be the sushi place of choice.
Regular. I’m a regular here often 2-3 times a week varying from lunch to dinner, and I have to say Aji Sai is just like any other all you can eat sushi restaurant I’ve been to all of them in barrie, all around the exact same price, theres no reason to feel surprised at a $50 bill after adding taxes and drinks to that, I’ve gotten nothing but great service whether it be lunch or dinner, the food tastes amazing, the atmosphere is great although there for lunch one day they had an explicit version of a drake song playing over the PA but hey i like music and didn’t really care, all in all I believe in these people 100% as this is how customer service is in their country, you go to sushi restaurants to experience Japanese culture well dont complain when they treat you like they are in their home country.
NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY.Food is subpar. Service horrid. Never get what you order. Have to ask for a beverage refill, and then wait ages for it to arrive. On a traditional date night it will cost you $50 plus for two and you will be hungry and VERY disappointed.
Worst service ever!! 2 of us paid 50$ for a tiny soup, tiny salad, and 8 wontons which took 1.5 hours to come out! We could no longer wait for the rest of our food and left starving and angry.
