I don’t think this place knows how to cope with the volume of customers they can accommodate. This is really noticable with their rice. When it is super busy, the rice comes still slightly warm and it won’t hold together, making the sushi very crumbly and difficult to eat. If you want good sushi, try to go when it isn’t busy.
Sushi was great I would go again for sure. Restaurant is kind of small and tight. I can blame slow service because it was packed, as a table emptied it filled up again. I could see the too sushi making guys just working their asses off. I’m not from the area so can’t compare but id say go if you haven’t unless you’re claustrophobic.
Service was terrible, spent an hour and a half waiting for our food. there wasn’t even anyone else in the dinning room D: when water finally arrived my glass had black mold in the bottom of it!! service girl argued with me about rather or not it was mold or the pattern on the bottom of the cup. my chop stick easily lifted it from the bottom of the glass. Disgusting. we tried to get up to leave at this point and they blocked the door saying we had to pay them. it got to the point i was calling the cops D:
This place is hit and miss….more miss than hit. Haven’t been here in about 4 months since we discovered Noble. Same old, over stuffed rice in hand rolls, to much rice with sushi and salmon and tuna not fresh at all. A side note, even with iPad ordering they still managed to mess up our order
It was okay. Probably about the best in Barrie I would say, but not the best in general. Service was not good but it is to be expected for an all you can eat sushi restaurant. Food was satisfactory. Nothing spectacular.
Never again. Not good at all. If you know anything at all about sushi you won’t eat here.
One of us loves sushi and one of us doesnt eat it- and we both had a nice meal.. We went on a saturday afternoon in April on a sunny spring like day. There were plenty of people but not too many luckily because the tables are kind of close together. The chairs are sturdy. We tried a little of almost everything on the entire menu, definitely something from every category for sure. The way that you choose your food is that you have an iPad handed to you that you can look at all the pictures of the food and then check them and then press send and then they verify it and bring it. You get to keep the iPad the whole time. It works very efficiently and all the food was served fast. All the things that you get to choose come in tiny portions so you can try everything. .. except that the sushi comes most likely in orders of like six or eight pieces. Very fresh. The hot food was very hot temperature-wise. They let us take our time which we appreciated and also when lunch was over they gave us like an extra hour and then respectfully inquired saying it was last call and asked us if we would like anything else (because dinner was starting). After we had our ice cream and fried bananas they let us sit and talk for a little while, no pressure. The only small complaints I would have is that the miso soup is cold to the point where you just don’t order it, and also they really should update their (plastic crappy) water pitchers. The hot green tea was very nice and was included with the price.
