Amazing, amazing, amazing! The quality of food anywhere you go of course is important, but to me, service is huge as well as I am in the service industry myself. We were greeted with enthusiasm and seated where we preferred. We sat on the patio which was awesome. Our waitress checked on us enough that we were comfortable and were able to let her know if we needed anything, but not too much to be a bother. She was extremely friendly and helpful. Now the food… Wow! I loved the unique menu options, a pub is a pub is a pub, but not Donaleighs. I had pulled pork tacos and my husband had the lobster mac and cheese. So delicious!! I had a bite of my husband’s mac and I swear I must have helped him finish it off, it was so good! The pulled pork tacos were such a great combo of flavours, melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork topped with crunchy slaw. Fresh cut French fries were awesome, especially dipped in their homemade gravy. I think it was made with Jack Daniels? I can’t remember but it was something like that and just wow. Looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu!

Mains are varied, and so far every one was excellent and had something new to offer. Particularly recommend the Signature Burger – freshly made, no frozen burger here.Side note: THE best onion soup I have had in many years, their Guinness Onion Soup is a must have, if you like French Onion Soup.Overall, I would give it a $$$ price rating, and there is nothing inexpensive on the menu. Having said that, just about everything we have ordered has been excellent, and well worth the price.
