Comfort food at its finest. I ordered their Parisian grilled cheese with a salad and it was heavenly. Eclectic furnishings with a casual, cottage feel and a friendly, laid back atmosphere. I’ll be back to try the rest of their menu.
Medicore. I tried the grilled cheese, it wasn’t horrible, but it was not what we thought it would be.
Simple. Delicious.. Greeted the moment we walked in the door. Friendly service with a smile and the most delicious grill cheese you can imagine. An excellent choice for a Sunday lunch!
So good!. Finally a place that incorporates simplicity in their decor and in their menu, but offers amazing food! I know it sounds absurd, but the sandwiches here are delicious. They even have a coffee board you can pay into that people can use for free coffee later! How neat is that. What brought our group there the first time was a picture of Zero in the window from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. So neat to see that in the middle of winter. The atmosphere was very calm and inviting. The staff was kind and cared about our dining experience. If you’re a fan of grilled cheese, you need to try this place out!
Delicious and Nice Environment. I had a quick lunch here during a short stay in Barrie. The Parisian was excellent and the owner was super nice. Relaxed ambiance. Could do with wifi, but feel that way about every standing building. Plus the coffee place next door is the best in Barrie. (and does have free wifi)
Barrie’s Grilled Cheese Social Eatery Rocks!. I’m a bit of a grilled cheese fanatic so I was excited to know the Grilled Cheese Social Eatery was opening in downtown Barrie. A grilled cheese is the ultimate comfort food … the only thing better than that being a grilled cheese with soup or a salad, both of which are offered on the menu. Having worked in the downtown core I can honestly say that it can be hard to find a place where you can grab a quick, hot, and delicious lunch that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. I love the original artwork that covers the walls of this restaurant. The staff are friendly and efficient. And yes, I’m a repeat customer who’s thanking the grilled cheese Gods for this little gem.
Super Duper Fantasmical. I absolutely love the good vibes of this establishment during both day and night hours. The workers set the mood for a comfortable environment and the Jalapeno Popper is to die for. Overall this is an excellent place for good music and great food after hitting the bars.
