Great meal, great atmosphere!! Definitely deserves a return visit.
I don’t think this restaurant gets enough publicity. I’d argue it’s the best or close to, in Barrie. Fresh, fantastic food. Creative plates. Great service.
Lovely restaurant , boyfriend liked the body spray and hand lotion offered in restroom … He’s not metrosexual but thought it was a nice touch ! Enjoyed being able to watch the chef cool our meals . Food was delicious !
Wonderful Surprise. My husband and I recently discovered this little gem in Barrie. The atmosphere was gorgeous and relaxed. We were greeted by the wonderful staff, and later met the owner. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Once seated, we were very pleased with the wine list, especially since the Bistro is quite small. Hands down the best part of the evening was the food. It tasted delicious and was prepared beautifully. I truly would recommend anyone in Barrie to try this lovely little restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!
Service was excellent, strong wine list for a small bistro. Everything was fresh and well prepared. A very nice spot in what is generally a sub par food scene.
A tasteful quaint little place in Barrie’s downtown. Food is fresh and well executed. Atmosphere is casual yet comfortably elegant. Menu is not huge but has a nice variety of flavours for all tastes. Grilled calamari with a curried cream sauce, crisp arugula salad, saganki with antipasto, hand wrapped spring rolls, escargot on puff pastry with garlic cream sauce and pork belly, freshly baked Mediterranean flatbread – all appetizers were executed well. Lobster and spinach risotto, beef tenderloin, pan seared salmon, supreme of chicken … All entrees were freshly prepared and served hot. Again, great execution. Didn’t get a look at the dessert menu but coffee was fresh brewed and good quality. A reasonable selection of wines and spirits. Overall good restaurant serving real food, well prepared. Great addition to Barrie’s restaurant scene. 3.5/5
Excellent food and service relaxed yet elegant atmosphere!!
