GREAT DINNER, ATMOSPHERE & SERVICE. Went for dinner with wife on a Tuesday night. Was first time at this restaurant. The service was great and the restaurant was not very busy on a Tuesday night. We were able to sit where we wanted and choose the popular window seats looking out onto the lake. They have a great looking patio looking onto the lake for warmer weather. The food was really good and it was a great atmosphere. We both had appetizer, entre, and desert. The price is what you would expect for a more upscale restaurant but well worth the extra dollars!

Overpriced & Small Portions. Food was excellent, however I left feeling still hungry. The pasta entrees don’t even come with a starter salad and they aren’t exactly inexpensive. For a $20 pasta, I would expect a salad to be included.

Frequent Restaurant Diner. The layout of the restaurant is lovely with the large outdoor patio overlooking Lake Simcoe. We were able to walk in without a reservation on a Friday night in June around 7 p.m.. The wait staff were pleasant and apologetic for a large noisy table of about 14 people who were loud and really taking over the atmosphere of the whole inside of the restaurant. It was cold outside so everyone was inside with this rude large party. It was so loud we could hardly hear each other talking at our table for 2. Other people would be seated at a table beside them and in a few minutes would ask to move to farther away seats. I am sure if this would have been a group of young people they would have been asked to tone it down. We ordered the goat cheese, tomato and greens salad which was good but the same as anywhere. The baked garlic appetizer was delicious and I wish I could make it as nice. Our main courses were a veal scallopini plate and the fish special which was pickerel . Neither dish was very special and the pickerel was dry. We usually like to have coffee/tea and dessert but we explained it was too loud to relax and enjoy it. We left and went down the street for this and were pleased to have music from the Barrie Jazz festival playing at the coffee shop to enjoy and end our meal.

Wow. We went a few weeks back, food was great, atmosphere was incredible (we were outside overlooking the water). And the price was right. 3 apps, 4 mains, 2 bottles of red and a round of shots= $225. Will be going back, hopefully soon!

The service was great, the food was awesome. We had the veal scaloppini and the Red Snapper entres , it was very good. You can sit outside and have a view to the harbour front.

My wife and I dropped in for lunch and the food was fantastic. We both took advantage of the $14.95 three course lunch. The salad and soup were excellent as was the lasagna and pork scallopini. We will be back for dinner!!
