Great place for lunch!. The food is amazing! Most things are made from scratch, so even some of their regular menu items will taste a bit different every time, always yummy though. The staff is welcoming and friendly and very accommodating for food allergies. My husband is allergic to nuts and they are always able to accommodate him.
My Happy Place. Good food, great coffee, friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices what more could you want. This is one of my favorite places to eat when in Barrie.

I cannot say enough good things about The Lazy Tulip and the wonderful staff.This is absolutely my fave place in Barrie to enjoy an awesome meal and espresso beverage with family or friends! I’m a person who a) loves food deeply b) cares about healthy, whole meals …. I’m studying to be a holistic nutritionist after all!The service is absolutely amazing and the little touches help to make this place shine! For example, The Lazy Tulip provides fresh infused waters, the availability of almond milk, a menu anyone can enjoy, a great atmosphere, a great vibe and exceptional service amongst many others. Also, the prices are 100% reasonable.I’ve got dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan) and the options on the menu are amazing and definitely not limited. If you’re a gf vegan, you’ll know the options out there can be very limited. They are very willing to help accommodate you and this also helps to set them above and beyond the rest! I’m able to take my meat eating friends and they love it here. I’m told any chicken dish is amazing. Anyone I’ve ever had the pleasure of dining with here, myself included, have never been disappointed. In fact, the very opposite.Give this place a shot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! You will be far from disappointed and you’ll feel great afterwards! Plus, you’ll be supporting a local business who is bringing healthy, amazing food to the community!
A hidden Gem in Barrie. We started going to Lazy Tulip when it opened, it is a quirky little restaurant on Maple. The soups are Amazing!!! As soon as we walk in my Cappuccino is ready (Oh forgot to mention Michelle’s Cappuccino is the best ever!!!)If you haven’t had a visit to the Tulip try it you will want to go back?
