WOW…amazing.Nothing else to say, but I will give a short review. The food was amazing, tasted great and authentic. Service was on point very prompt and super friendly. Price was very nice to my my wallet as well. I really hope that this place stays, I have lived in Barrie for 3 years and this is the 4th place in that location. Hopefully Made in Mexico does not have the 5 points curse.
There are a lot of restaurants on Dunlop. We had lunch at a pub and decided we wanted something different for dinner. We were waiting to walk across a busy intersection and noticed Made and Mexico. No debate -We decided to try it out.That turned out to be a great idea!This restaurant feels like a party. A family friendly party!We decided to sit on the patio. It was a warm day but it was dusk and there was a lot of shade. Can get loud on the patio, a combination of music, people talking and sounds from the street. It’s wasn’t annoying, just made you feel like you were somewhere happening.We started with guacamole. Was great, just the way I like my guacamole – chunky and full of flavour. Home made nachos made it great.We both got the fish tacos. I loved them. Two Hugh tacos with two sides. Picked rice and green salad. The rice was great, the salad was just salad and was good.When the sun started to set, they lot a fire in the middle of the patio and turned on strings of lightbulbs that crossed crossed the area. Really good. I’ve ordered takeout here twice and been very impressed on both occasions. The food has been flavourful and authentic. The value is excellent. Awesome food at a reasonable price is my kind of restaurant. Just what Barrie needs.

Loved it!! For sure will return!. Tonight was my first time going to Made In Mexcio in Barrie along with my family. We loved the restaurant atmosphere and the staff is very nice and patient. The food was amazing the the portions were huge and a great value for your money. The presentation of every dish was phenomenal and I was very impressed with how fresh and well made everything was. All the food was very flavourful and my whole family and I all enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered 5 dishes in total and everything exceeded our expectations. We are all still raving about the food and are all eager to return. I would for sure recommend everyone give it a try!
Great place. Had a great server named Katie she was high energy and fun to have ordered a burrito with sides I let her choose ended up with the soup (amazing) and the salad overall great food and great service will be back
