2016/08/11On our way back from the Muskokas we stopped in Barrie for dinner. I saw that there was a Made in Mexico there. We liked their restaurant in Newmarket, so we decided to give this location a shot.First let me say that I did like their food. However, there were problems at the restaurant that evening. It was a hot day, and for whatever reason it was very hot and humid inside the restaurant too. There were people on the patio, but they kept the doors wide open. I don’t know if the air conditioning wasn’t working, or if it couldn’t keep up with the open doors. Regardless, it was too hot inside, and with the doors wide open, numerous flies entered the restaurant and were annoying throughout the meal. The food was good. SWMBO had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole, with a hint of chocolate in the sauce. I had the Alambres with Adobo Chicken. Alambres are essentially like fajitas. The adobo chicken had been marinated in some spices, giving it an extra little kick.
