This is one of my favourite pubs in Barrie. It tends to be frequented by regulars, and the servers and bouncers def know the usual crowd, but I don’t find it affects service and the onion devils make it more than worthwhile to visit!Food: My fave dish is the onion devils; I could eat them all day long! Pieces of onion rings in a spice with a Chipotle dip…. soooo awesome and a great portion size too! Friends of mine have ordered other items, but this and a Guinness and I’m more than content :)Service: I find the service is quite good. It’s a local pub with lots of regulars, so I imagine there extra pressure to provide top notch service to keep people coming back and tipping well. I’ve never had a bad experience.Price: Pretty much on par with the rest of the bars in that area regarding beer prices, and the food is typical pub food prices, $6-$10 depending on the dish.Summary: A great bar with one particularly AMAZING dish. Recommended!
Great Pub. I work at the busiest pub downtown and whenever I want to get away from the business and have the same type of atmosphere I come here. The food is so delicious and very reasonably priced. The JD pulled pork tacos and Smithwicks battered haddock are the best on the menu. Only problem is the girls need to learn how to pour a beer properly, 99% of the time I have an unacceptable amount of head on my beer. Other than that this pub is a must try!
