Mixed feelings… I have been to Memories several times at night and during the day; I have always been impressed with the night staff, very friendly and fun; however today myself and my co workers went to get breakfast; I asked for the 3 eggs (over easy) sausage, home fries and toast – the eggs were hard as rocks, no yolk at all, the toast was soggy and the home fries had not one spice at all to them. My co worker ordered the western on white toast and got one side rye toast and the other white…my other co worker order bacon and cheese on rye toast and got egg and cheese on one side rye one side white… not impressed at all..I brought mine back and got new eggs and toast and didn’t realize yet that my co workers orders were wrong as well or else we all would have brought our food back. The service was great don’t get me wrong, but it would be nice to have someone cooking the same way every day. I understand there are two chefs – when we order when the one chef is there, almost all the time the orders are right and the food is OK. I think maybe re-vamping your menu would help or having one consecutive chef all the time. And to the posts above, you should be able to take constructive criticism as a company; the person not saying the name of the server who was rude to them or whatever it may have been was them being courteous. I think if you see a review like that you should approach all of your staff and use that as an example of what not to do. I will not be going to Memories again and neither will my co workers because of this experience. I would rather get breakfast at Mcdonalds. I will still however go for a beer after work occasionally because I enjoy the atmosphere at night and like I said before the girls that work there are awesome. 🙂
Humiliated. Arrived late to have a drink and a couple of songs, my friend and I ordered a drink, but my daughter ordered a water, as she wasn’t feeling very well. The Karaoke DJ made an announcement over the microphone that if you order water you are not allowed to sing. There were maybe 8 other people in the bar, so she literally told the other patrons that our table ordered water, as we had just walked in. We were totally humiliated and blown away at how unprofessional and rude this was. The server, said she would talk to her and allow us to sing if we wanted, but it was too late. We were already upset and just wanted to leave. I have been to this bar before, and the owners are very nice people. The food has always been good, and service usually prompt and professional, but since this experience, I will never return there again.
Nice bar n grill. I have been to this bar many times for breakfast n lunch n have never left unsatisfied wether on the bar side or restaurant side.as i was reading some so called out of towners complaints i could not help but wonder if they may have arrive on a slow night [just like every bussines does have],i have had many a great night out at this bar n grill n many other bars in this town aswell but i have had many slow nights in all other bars as well.i find that this bar is set up n equipt to be quite diversified to all its paitreints needs.all i can say is check out the pictures n come make a decision of your own,good food, people n good times.your wallet will not hurt n your belly will be full
I would like to agree with the owners. I am a waitress here and if by any reason our service isn’t the greatest, we would like to know,so we can improve our service to please our customers. Hope that everyone will enjoy Memories as much as I do. Come out and see for yourself.
Hello as the owner of Memories Bar & Grill . I would not say I have a five star karaoke bar but I will say you will have fun here.my staff is here to serve you and for being clean ill give them a 99 out of a 100 .for Simon Big Dawg to leave a post like they did with out a profile or a email and a date like you did tell me they are bored. I did look back in the karaoke book as we right down all names of singer for the week you said you where there and I did not see any out of town names that week and I see there was a review from I won’t say your name but you took time to delete so why would you not take time to right this I think you and your friend are playing a sick game but what ever what I would like to say is if your service is no good I would like to no and ask for the server name please leave your email so we can fixes your stay or service cheers
Worst Bar Ever. I was in from out of town and a karaoke fan. I was told about this bar, so i gave it a chance. BIG MISTAKE!!! The layout was ugly, I wasnt sure what type of bar it really was. There was pool tables that overcrowded the bar area. Then you are able to sit in another area, well if you dont mind feeling like a sardine still in the can. No room to move. There was a large dance floor that had more room then the seating area. And a very strange looking booth in a hidden corner for the dj. it had a tiki type look that just didnt fit the bar. It was very confussing, is it a pool hall? a karaoke bar? some type of beach tiki bar? I really dont know! The sound system sounded very amateurish. Lots of wasted times with nothing going on. And then there was the service, or should i say lack of! A saturday night and only one girl working at the bar. No waitresses or table runners. What is that about? Not expecting many people or what? Then too make the service that much worse, the ugly attitude myself and my buddies got was just too much. I was affraid of saying anything or i might have been had my drink spit in. I never went back up to get another. I also didnt know who was actually working, no identifyable logos on the bartender, instead a sweater that really told me that she doesnt care about where she works and maybe even like she was trying to hide so as not to have to do any work all night. No professionalism period. This is not a place i will ever go back to or recomend that anyone goes to. Its a bar with an identity crisis goin on and horible service at best. I give a 1 out of 10, and even thats being generous in my books.
Lousiest service i have experienced in a long while. Atomosphere was no better. I get the impression that the staff did not even want to be there. Not recommending.
