Son’s 14th Birthday Dinner was GREAT. We don’t live in Barrie, but were there for a hockey game. It also happened to be my son’s 14th Birthday so he picked Moose Winooski’s for his dinner! FANTASTIC! Food and service were both excellent and there was 12 of us. The waitress was very accomodating for the 7 year old in our party and my Maple Quinoa salad was out of this world! My son got to wear these great Moose Horns and got sung to and had an ice cream sundae! Was a great Sunday evening meal in Barrie.
Service was fine. Atmosphere kid friendly road house but the food was the worst I have had in years. Potato skins were reheated and greasy, last night leftovers. The ribs were so full of fat and gristle that I could not eat them. The server did not ask how everything was even though both our plates we left unfinished. Will never ever go back. Worst $80!i have ever spent
Was here the other day for lunch…had the fish and chip special for $9.99 and was quite surprised by the fresh cut fries…was very good. Great lodge decor and great service too…
Way to piss off a group of 20 tonight guys! We had a reservation for a birthday at 6 but some of us showed up at 5. We ordered some drinks than but didnt receive them until 5:45. Than we were told they didnt set the table up right and moved us. That took about 20 minutes. Than they didnt take our orders until 6:30. Our food didnt come until 7pm( very slowly and sporadically), however as we were getting our food the manager came over and said we had 15 minutes until we had to leave. So as a result we all were very upset, the birthday was ruined, and we couldnt enjoy our meals. We didnt even have time to get desert! I myself have background in the restaurant and retail industries and find this extremely inappropriate and poor, poor management. It is simply unacceptable!
Yule. I had to send my chicken sandwich back as the bun was old and hard as a rock, and the chicken dry and over cooked Our party of 4 all had to return food. Very bad over cooked food. I do not recommend this place to anyone. And the service was slow. They see us trying to get their attention but choose to ignore
Good food, good prices. Too much like Montana’s!! It feels like you are in Montana’s…but you are not. Weird.
Amazing food that comes super fast. Clean place and very comfortable, drinks refilled before they were empty kinda place !!
