2017/07/12We were heading back home after a day north of the city, and the four of us stopped at Pie for dinner. SWMBO and I had been to this location several years ago, and it looked pretty much the same. We weren’t super hungry, so SWMBO and I shared a small Caesar Salad and a Sweet & Spicy Pie. The sweet came from the caramelized onions, and the salami had a bit of a spicy kick. Add some tangy tomato sauce, goat cheese and basil, and you get a pizza that is a pleasant little departure from the usual.
2bd time at Pie and was not disappointed at all. Had the Stinky pie although it did not stink at all. Enjoyed the pesto and blue cheese combination. I felt that the walnuts did not add anything to the pie and could have been left off. Otherwise a great meal. FYI avoid sitting on the stools outside, very uncomfortable and your thong will show.
