  Anniversary Dinner – Amazing. I had read these reviews before going to our anniversary dinner and picking The North Restaurant and decided to make my own opinion. I am so glad we went. Best dinner I have ever had, presentation was beautiful, service was excellent!

  Happy Valentine Day….I guess.. So my GF and myself made resos for vday and booking it was no problem. Hearing that this place was a nice place to visit, i went in with no real expectations. Well first let me tell you they have 4 or 5 different rooms with tables jammed in them! Im talking 11 tablea in basically a master bedroom. 1 server who was a gong show! My gf ordered a martini and when the server was bringing it to the tAble it was litteraly over flowing and dripping all over the servers hand and table. Hahah. It was comical. So i order a beer and after 10 minutes we ordered our food. 20 minutes later my beer was empty and 15 min later i flagged down the server for another. Meanwhile other tables were recieving their meals and 3 tAbles had the wrong meals!! I mean completly wrong!! Our meal finally arrived and it was pretty good. $37 dollars worth for a average size playe was questionable. Diring our meal one of the tables asked for their bill and this gong show server who promised them a free meal actually tries to make them pay for it! Than she over charged on the bottles of wine they ordered. So we decided to order the chocolate cake which was recommended because its freahly baked. Well we received it and just the top was baked. The inside was pure batter!! Amazing i know. We did however recieve a free dessert because of it. Overall i would give this restaurant a 2 out of 5 stars. Dark, poor service and very understaffed and for a fine dining establishment iron your table cloths!

  Poor reservation process. Reserved online and requested not to sit beside the kitchen door or the stairwell. Had been there before and these are not good tables. Arrived on time for the reservation and although there were empty tables was told that they were reserved for someone else and that we could sit at the bar and then possibly move to the table by the kitchen door. For a $200 meal I expect more than the cheap seats. Went to the Keg and was treated far better.

  Dinner Menu Special. We ate at The North for our anniversary recently, as we have many times before. As our waiter started telling us what the specials were there were a couple that I asked for more details on as one I had not heard of before. Turns out that their special was HORSE!!!!!!! I have travelled extensively around the world and had dinner in more ‘fine dining’ restaurants then I can remember and I have never in my life been faced with this as a special. I was completely stunned and appalled and if we had not already ordered our drinks and appetizers we would have got up and walked out. We will never go back to this restaurant as a result.

  Bad Valentine at the North. Had a real bad exp. because of one girl that works there. She decided to sit us beside the front door when it was minus 15 outside. right beside the phone that she was on all night even with her boyfriend a few times. we spent $150 for 2 of us and could not taste a thing as we where frozen. Asked to move and she said all other seat had reservations, not true. I think because we where so young she was mad at us for some reason. I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone.
