  Dinner served at this Restaurant.. It was our anniversary and ordered surf & Turf. Seafood was cold potatoes was not roasted, it stewed with spices that we could not care for. The salad was cold from the fridge and the vegetables had no tastes. For the amount of money we spent it was not worth it. The seafood was not fresh at all. The Steak was o.k. The only thing I could say was the Server was excellent. He kept us entertained. We will never go back here. Very disappointed.

  A true gem of Barrie.. My wife and I were looking for a nice steak dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We were planning on going to one of the popular ones but when we found out it was going to be an hour plus wait just to be seated we looked elsewhere. Thank goodness for that. The service the food and the atmosphere of town and Country were amazing. We know why the have been around this long. We have a new favorite. The presentation of the meal was beautiful and if you are in for some entertainment some of the table side preparation will be well worth it.

  This distinctive, authentic steakhouse made for a great evening out. I was in a party of right, and my gf and I had the chateaubriand steak (it’s a meal for two). The head waiter cooked it right at the table for us exactly the we wanted it. He was very attentive to our whole table and told us a bit about how T&C is inspired by the great steakhouses of New York. We will definitely go back and have recommended T&C to friends and family.

  Nice atmosphere, but the food could be a lot better for what you pay – definitely over priced. Will probably not go back.

  We went on new years eve. We had a party of eight and well the service was horrible. We were never asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers the menu was a special new years eve menu. I shared the 30oz porterhouse steak with my girlfriend we asked for medium rare and the steak was a lot less then that to the point it was cold in the middle. Also the cut the steak before they sent it out to us witch says to me they don’t really know what medium rare is. One the menue there is option of mashed or baked potato they didn’t even ask just brought the baked potato and on top of all this there is a 18% tip on the bill then when we go to pay visa it asks you to leave another tip I think the service could be a lot better

  Love the changes. The new look and menu are amazing!!! Table-side cooking is an experience on its own, and its about time we found a place with professional waiters who know their wines. If you want steak this IS the place! If you want the best service north of Toronto,this IS the only place in town!!!25 Sep, 2012Dinner. Excellent steaks and great service.
