My friends had raved about this place, but the food was only okay. The food looked really appetizing, but the taste itself was merely a 2. I had the Avocado Banger and The Great Chicken – one on a bao bun and one on a baguette. The Avocado Banger was only okay – there should have been more sauce and it would have been nice if there was better seasoning around the deep fried avocado crust. The chicken was a good size, but hardly any seasoning except salty chicken which overpowered the rest of the flavourings. The bao bun was nice and light and made in house, but you didnt feel like you ate that much. The baguette was store bought and nothing special. There were no multigrain options. The service was great! They were friendly and helpful.

This place was pretty good. I got the duck dynasty and the chicken Katsu bao’s. I’d say the duck was tastier than the chicken one. The place is kind of secluded where it’s in a residential area, it’s below an apartment but the area is near WLU. The wifi also doesn’t work..but the service is quite good. I’d go back again (:

Decent homemade baos but the meats were not up to par. I tried the pork belly and the duck neither of which I would order again. If youve ever had banh mi boys than this will disappoint stephaniealau.com

I got the AvocadoBanger on a bao bun with fries .Deef frying may not be the healthiest way to eat an avocado but it is the only I will accept it from now on. Someone went a little heavy on the salt with my fries but they were otherwise pretty good. Bao bun was really good, very soft, kind of like a thicker softer tortilla (they are small though so if you are hungry, go with the baguette or order two!). Prices were also very cheap. Looking forward to coming back!

Love the place! I was lucky to eat inside the restaurant when it first opens. It is not easy to find the location because it is behind an apartment and the entrance is at the carpark. The food is very surprisingly good as the steamed bun is unique within the area. I tried both the Fried Fish Bao and the Pork Belly Banh Mi, and they are both delicious! Their fries are quite good as well! The waiter and the chef are very friendly and asked us about the food. Definitely, will go again!
