Really love this place. I don’t go often, but it’s a rare gem especially so close to the WLU. I love the Thai menu and decor, it feels like you’re somewhere else. You can’t go wrong with anything from the menu and the service is always good. If you’re in the mood for something a bit out there but incredibly delicious give it a try!
Best of Waterloo. Absolutely amazing! But you do need reservations!! Especially on busier nights since it’s a very small and popular restaurant and they won’t have enough tables. Do yourself a favor and if you want to eat here make reservations. Also another word of advice, this is not a cheap Ben Thanh’s alternative! This is top notch eclectic fine dining.03 Oct, 2014Best Waterloo has to offer. Absolutely amazing! But you do need reservations!! What an amazing discovery. You would probably drive past it and not think twice. Stop. Everything about this place screams fun and fresh. We started with the mussels in lemongrass chilli broth. I don’t like mussels and they were so flavourful. I had the Mel brown which is a five spice and cider pulled pork in a rice noodle. It was so flavourful. Both portions filled us before dinner even came. For dinner we had the bistik tandoori which was a grilled angus tenderloin with taro mash and a tandoori sauce with pakora . Wow. So tender and yummy. So much flavour. My partner has the nueau ped Brady which was rib eye with snake beans veggies and a red curry butter sauce. It was amazing. Way too much food. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich made with rhubarb short bread honey ice cream. I had the Indian donuts. They were good but needing something more . This place is not cheap so be warned. But if you want good with flavour with amazing service that is Unlike anything else out there you need to come here. (Ivan our server was the best with the coolest goatee) I would be back tomorrow if I was not so full!! Wow
