Im going to start off by saying Ive never left a review on anything, good or bad. I downloaded this app specifically to leave this review. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I came just before heading to a gymnastics competition by myself. It was busy and there was a ton of people but I didnt mind waiting in line at all. After 15 minutes waiting in line I was seated, then after another 10 I was finally waited on. Another 15 after that I was given my coffee and water. She thanks me for my patience and I say its no problem. At this point its kind of slow but whatever, I still dont mind. She takes my order and even though I was particular (Im a vegetarian and asked for extra potatoes instead of bacon and I didnt want bananas on my crepe) my server was very polite and said it was all good! I waited another 20 minutes to be given my food. I was almost ready to get up and leave before my plate was even put down. Even looking at the food I could tell it was either really underdone or had been left sitting out for quite some time. I had one bite of the mushy potato and it was gross and cold. My eggs were cold to touch. Almost an hour in this restaurant AND MY FOOD IS COLD!!!! I was shocked. I sent it back with the first server I could call over. 5 minutes later – NO ONE came over to make things right, ask what I wanted to do, nothing. I picked up my stuff and left. So disappointed with this location. I live in durham region and I LOVE my local Coras. I wont be back.
