Top notch. Great pints, friendly staff, and always a good, unpretentious crowd. Miss the jukebox, mind you, but as good as pubs get in K-W, and surprisingly great food too as pubs go.
Pretzel Ruben. I love this place, its got good food and lots of drink. Its also got great music. The place is small so it fills up pretty quickly on weekends so think about getting here early. I’ve had a couple things from the menu so far. I drunkenly ordered a spicy hot dog that came covered in fried jalapenos (pretty awesome) but to be honest I can’t recall if it was good (my memory’s a little fuzzy). What I do remember having, though, is the pretzel ruben. Corned beef, swiss cheese and sauerkraut on a soft pretzel bun all smooshed together in a melted beef mix. Its served with a hefty portion of dijon to dip. It’s good and the fries are also very good.
