This place is now called Unity bakery. Have to agree with rest of the reviewers here. Picked up 6 cupcakes in-store. Blueberry cheesecake cupcake had the flavour and texture of a muffin. Strawberry was dense and heavy. Red velvet tasted like plain old chocolate. All of the cupcakes were VERY heavy and greasy/buttery. Icing isn’t icing – it tastes like straight-up whipped butter. Does anyone really like eating a plain stick of butter? Nope. Not even if it’s whipped, tinted and piped beautifully. And who would throw out a cupcake?! I did. 2 stars for the beauty and artistry, but you can’t sustain yourselves on looks alone! Won’t be back.

My favourite place in Uptown Waterloo. I can’t believe this place has such a low rating. It’s delicious! I’ve had the cupcakes and the paninis and they are amazing. So so so good and worth the price. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but they beat starbucks any day.
Cakes aren’t good quality. The texture is too heavy. The flavors are not good.

Excellent service and great tasting cakes!. Honey Bake Shop did an awesome job on the custom designed Breaking Bad Birthday cake. They listened to everything I wanted and came up with an amazing design. It was a huge hit and delicious too :)The cupcakes are also amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back for some more baked goodies.
