Stumbled upon this place while checking out the Asian grocery in the same plaza. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised! The staff seated us and brought a highchair over for my 10-month-old. They even disinfected the chair with wipes first. That was a thoughtful gesture! My husband is Japanese-Canadian and so he is very particular about his sushi. He rarely finds a sushi restaurant he likes but when he does, we become regulars. We may become regulars here. I ordered a bento meal and that came with a variety of sushi. Each piece was very fresh and the temperature was right. My bento also came with pork katsu and it was perfect – tender and crunchy, golden and delicious. Not a trace of oiliness. The salad and miso soup were both spot-on for flavour. Spicy tuna rolls are my jam so I had to try them here – I was not disappointed!! This is a Korean/Japanese restaurant so you will find Korean items on the menu too. Overall, fantastic sushi and friendly service – we’ll be back.
Worst Service. This is the worst service I have ever experienced, and I’m not needy. Food took forever to come out of the kitchen, almost everyone in the restaurant was just sitting around waiting for food. The waitresses were literally running around frantically not accomplishing much. I ate less than half of what I normally do and it took 2 hours…. Never going back that’s for sure.
Very fresh. This place has a really clean and bright and well-designed atmosphere, as well as great, fresh food. I really enjoyed the bulgogi bento box i ordered when i came here. it came with bulgogi, rice, a small salad with sesame dressing, dumplings and sushi rolls. all for the very reasonable price of $10.99. i am not a raw fish kind of girl, and when i asked for vegetarian rolls instead, they were very accommodating. i will be back!
I really like this place compared to the all-u-can-eats that are taking over. The Miso soup is excellent and I love the dynamite and spicy tuna rolls. The take out counter is fast and cheap…$3-$7 for 4-8 piece rolls.
Great. The sushi, bento boxes, and dishes at this restaurant had not yet disappointed me. I would recommend coming here to eat. (Warning: when it gets busy, the service is horrid)
Not sure how I feel about this place I thought the sushi was ok, my companion hated it. Service took forever. Not an all you can eat place so when the meal is more expensive you expect high quality
