I revisited this restaurant and I have to say that they were a lot better before. I ordered their pad thai and it was very bland and greasy that I had to blot the noodles to get rid of the oil. Overall, very disappointed.
Very accommodating and delicious!. We had a large group (20) last minute. Great, fast service. Food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Fresh rolls and emerald curry were very tasty!
Coconut everything. I’ve been here a couple of times, and this stands near the top of my list of restaurants in Waterloo. I second the comment about the coconut shrimp being a MUST ORDER. I also recommend any of the coconut curries. I had correctly ordered one such curry the first time, but the second time I went with the mango chicken (I was so excited for mango, and chicken!), which had sauce a touch lacking in flavour. I can especially recommend the Emerald Curry. The location is great, right across the street from both the Original Princess Theatre and the Princess Twin Theatre. Perfect for the combo dinner and a movie.
Always come here when I’m craving Thai food. Always generous portions with lots of flavour. Their pad Thai is a favourite and their curries are a must! Get the coconut shrimps for appetizers as well.
8/10. Good food. Not 10/10 but good for the price and that it serves a student town. The curries are good and it’s accompanied with good service. Slightly awkward tables.
I give it a 5/10. It was so-so. Pad Thai wasnt that flavourful but the Tom yum was really good. Service and decor are nice. I don’t think I would come here again though.
6.5/10. The place is pleasant enough. Like many ethnic restaurants, it’s given up some authenticity in order to seem more approachable to a larger demographic. It’s reasonably-priced and the staff are nice.Fans of true pad thai will likely be disappointed – the pad thai’s not bad, but it doesn’t have the sweet/spicy/sour flavours that it should. Instead, it is a peanut sauce which apparently lots of the university kids love, and is even one of their most popular items, but one I found lackluster. The tom yum soup is great though. Flavourful and delicious! All in all, I don’t think I would be opposed to going there again, but I also wouldn’t go out of my way for it either.
