Employees were rowdy and rude to my friends and I. They messed up our orders and yelled at us when we didn’t respond to her screaming the order. Chicken took forever to make but it came fresh and tasty as per Popeyes standards. Location is far off from the university district so we had to bus there. Restaurant itself is pretty dirty though. Would go again for the food but would avoid talking to the staff as much as possible.
Dirty, slow and bad service. First of all they are extremely slow, it seems like they don’t understand they are in fact a fast food restaurant. It took me 15 min to wait for a combo meal. The other time i tried the drive through, but it took them even longer. Second, they have no clue what they are doing. They mess up orders, mixing up spicy and regular chickens, wrong sides etc. Their employees certainly need more training. Finally their kitchen and floor is dirty, I’m really afraid to eat there again. Having said that all the comment are toward the Waterloo store. I have great experience at the Kitchener and their other chains. I like them better than KFC.
