Really good shawarma. The chicken and rice are much better (less oily, more flavourful) than Mozys but the fries were too soggy. The garlic and spicy …

Went here with 3 girlfriends before going to the theater.Atmosphere- The room is bright with nondescript tables and chairs and a couple of couches in the back of the room for patrons waiting for take out or to be seated. On the other side of the room is a kitchen areas so you can watch your food being made.Service- We were greeted by a very friendly man who could sell ice to an Eskimo because his enthusiasm exuded from him when he described the dishes he preferred on the menu.We all ordered the fatoush salad to start because Mr waiter had our mouths watering about trying it because he told us of the special spices that keeps people coming back for more. The special ingredient was a balsamic glaze they drizzle on top of the pita chips and salad.the result is heaven. The salad itself had fresh lettuce and tomatoes with a light dressing. I decided to have the mixed grill ( with chicken, veal, and lamb cubes in a stir fry with onions, served with a choice of side- I chose fries. The meat was cooked perfectly with spices that combined nicely. They served it with a hot sauce and a garlic mayonnaise. The mayo was good but the hot sauce detracted from the wonderful taste of the meat. My fiends had the chicken swarms, lamb cubes , and rice. All reports were wonderful, however, you could not beat the description of the falafel my third friend had ordered.Service- From the moment we walked in until we left we were attended to as if we were dignitaries. This was in between the steady stream of customers while we ate our meal. If I lived closer, I would most likely become a regular here, however, being an hour away doen’t mean I wont be back soon. I will be back for sure.
First time for this type of cooking, was not disappointed. Fresh, tasty. Had the plate meals, both were fine. Would order again. The type of cooking leans toward salt. Small clean place, nice staff.
Skeptical. I went there for lunch earlier today. I had the student combo 2, a chicken shawarma wrap, fries and pop. The ambiance was really good, had a very home-y feel to it, the staff perfectly cordial and friendly. The food was good and economical. Pretty good actually. I thought the wrap was a bit on the dry side but that was maybe just me. However it is definitely not for the faint of heart. Ten hours later I’m still full to the brim, even though I walked like 3-4 miles today after eating. Note that I normally have a pretty big appetite and can easily eat an hour after having a 3 course meal.Overall 3.8 out of 5 stars.
Best shawarma and Falafel in Kitchener Waterloo region after trying all the other places. The food quality is consistent after trying them few times unlike many other little spots in the area. The service is top notch and I recommend other small restaurants to become alike.
Love the food and environment. I lile the food there, expectially chicken shawerma~!!!!!!:)
Wonderful Food, Great People.. Loved the food here at Shawerma Plus; Great people with high quality of customer service. Food is tremendous, full love flavor. Definitely a good place to recommend family and friends.
Pretty crappy food…. I can’t understand why this place has such high ratings…I’ve been here twice and the food was sub par every time… 1st time got some chicken special with rice… the chicken was a greasy rubbery mess and completely flavorless and I can hear them microwaving the rice… decide to grab shawarma 2nd time, thought i’d have better luck since its in their name… wasn’t very good either… I think I’ll stick to mozy from now on… much better tasting and value in my opinion…
