Farmers Market Food. E: This shop’s food is what one expects from a farmer’s market. Think hotdogs, burgers, ham, bacon, egg and the such. I had a spicy Hot Hotdog and it was hefty and semi-spicy. I liked the taste. The bun was fresh and the massive jugs of French’s mustard, barrel of relish and the ketchup (which I did not need) go with what they serve and the hotdog, which I ordered became all-dressed except for the tomato. Garnishes and extras are on the counter for the taking. Their Hot Sausage On A Bun is $3.75. Courtesy of them now I know what a Bifana is too! It is on their board as is pogos. They have combos on the menu board, which they delightfully, cough, call Piggy Combos.-A: This Little Piggy Went To The Market is right across from the far door of St Jacobs’ farmers market. There is a number of benches extending in front of the shop where customers can take their food. On the days when the market is open it can get packed, but some would call it supreme people-watching.-T: There were few people in line, but one can imagine a longer queue at peak 12:00 PM lunchtime. I am happy to say I had to wait only five minutes to obtain my sausage and that there wasn’t a line-up. Then again, more people were eating inside the market, which as always was packed. Parking is another matter. Patience is the counsel.-S: One orders through an open window. The ladies inside were busy taking orders and making the food. It is a take-out (I rather call it take-away) stand so service is hardly applicable. It looks like, as with many things in town, This Little Piggy Went To The Market is operated by Mennonites.
