  For the expensive price the food could be better. The breakfast waffles are delicious though and would go again for that. The cold drinks are good as well and I can actually taste coffee in them unlike Timmies. Don’t go here for food, go here for desserts and coffee. The rice boxes were amazing though!

  I loved the ambiance and the coffee. So refreshing from the normal Starbucks. However we didn’t have a good expierence. My girlfriend is here for her reading week but we are both busy so we decided to do some homework here at Williams. We brought our own mugs and I got us coffees and a muffin and we started homework. After about an hour and a half an employee came over and said ‘my manager says you guys need to leave because you have been here for too long and haven’t bought anything’ the girl was obviously so uncomfortable and we felt so bad that her manager would make her do that instead of coming over and chatting with us himself, at which point we would of just informed him we had brought out own coffee mugs. We would of had no problem getting another couple drinks I’m order to stay abit longer and chat. I haven’t seen her in a couple months and time gets away from you when you are busy catching up. We couldn’t believe in a million years that a manager would send an employee over to talk to us since she was obviously very uncomfortable and kept appologizing to us since we did in fact buy stuff. Dear manager, next time you have a problem, address it yourself instead of sending someone else to do it for you, isn’t that why they hired you anyway? And to the young girl. Sorry your manager doesn’t know how to do his job. For any students don’t plan on doing homework here or bringing your own coffee mugs because you will just get kicked out!

  Terrible. They recently closed the cafe in order to renovate, which made it much worse. The booths are now much shorter, offering no privacy, and making the cafe very noisy. It’s hard to have a private conversation with someone here.I also find the service to be very lacking. Everytime I go there the staff is discourteous to me. A number of times when the servers brought me my food/drinks, they asked me if I needed anything else, and seemed upset when I requested anything (like milk for my tea/coffee). I only go there because it is close to the University. I wish they would put in another cafe in the plaza.

  Great spot. Great place to socialize with your friends, have coffee and enjoy a laid back coffee pub.
