Overall bad experience. I ordered the cob salad and was pretty excited to try it. When I received it there was no chicken, no hard boiled egg, bacon or guacamole whatsoever. I also got the wrong dressing for it. Overall it was lettuce with tomatoes and onion which was pretty disappointing. The person I was with got a wrap which turned out to be a sad looking flat wrap with very little in it. She was still very hungry after eating it. The mushroom soup was good but not great.

Zoup? More like Poop….. I tried Zoup for the first time today at their new Wellington Rd. location in London, Ontario. I ordered the Chicken Fajita soup and the Pesto 3-Cheese sandwich in a combo. The soup was good, not great, and the sandwich was basically just melted cheese on a bun with tomatoes on it. I could have likely bought the ingredients from the grocery store for a few dollars more than what I paid and made multiple soups and multiple sandwiches. The customer service was good however the location seemed crammed and it wasn’t even busy. All in all for a soup and sandwich I paid $11 which was not worth it. I’d be hard-pressed to spend even $7 on the same meal again. For those in London who like soup/sandwiches, try Piping Kettle instead. The food is delicious and the prices are much more fair than Zoup. 5/10

Zoup London, Ontario. Went to Zoup today in London Ontario. Today was it’s opening. I was excited to try this place and waited with anticipation for it’s opening? I had the Chicken Pot Pie soup. I thought it was alright. Nothing special? I was hoping for an miraculous moment of aaawwww. Didn’t happen until they rang it in $ 8 and change for a bowl of soup with a bun??? Was not worth it.

Nothing Special. As with most restaurant soups, it was overly salty. The portions are of average size and the sandwiches nothing really special. This location is lacking in seating. The bread was fresh and very good. The soup, just ok. It was over priced, for what you get.

Very disappointing. I was excited to try this place after reading so many positive reviews. As per usual, I kept in mind to not expect perfection. However, the soup I received was not only disappointing, but bad enough to leave me baffled at how they can get away with charging so much. My boyfriend wanted me to pick up some seafood soup. I would have tried another kind, but when I saw the prices, I quickly decided on an extra large shrimp and crawfish etouffee. (Actually, I decided on the lobster bisque, but since that was gone, this was the only option other than clam chowder.) A small cup of this soup is 7.50. A bowl is 9.25, and an extra large – which looks to hold about three bowls – is 15.65. Two rolls were included with the order, which came to 17.69 with tax. This would have been cheap if it were a whole meal, but since it was just soup, I left thinking this had better be one of the best soups I have ever tasted. It was also supposed to be spicy, and I enjoy spicy food very much, so I was happy about that. Well, getting home and eating the soup, it turned out that it was not only not spicy, but quite bland. I didn’t need it to be extremely hot (I know this is subjective), but it was in dire need of ANY kind of spice or flavour. On the website, the only spice listed is thyme, but I couldn’t even taste that, and the onions, celery and peppers were not nearly plentiful enough to come through. For flavour it was similar to prepared condensed soup out of the can. My boyfriend also had to spit out out two pieces of crawfish that were not cleaned properly as they still had scales on them. Other than these issues, the soup wasn’t *horrible*. It was not the worst I’ve ever had. But it certainly was not close to being worth the price or the hype.

Love Zoup!. My go to place for soup. Most of their soups are pretty good. They let you try any soup you want before ordering. ‘Half and half’ combo (I think that’s what it’s called) is a pretty good deal as you can get a decent sized bowl of soup and a sandwich. For sandwich’s, I stick with the Chicken toscana.
