The venue, staff, management did everything (and more) to make our special day perfect. Guests from all over the world could not get over the amazing food (personalized pizzas, table d’hte, deserts). Elegance, intimacy and class were words that came up in conversations with guests throughout the evening. I cannot imagine a more classic Ottawa venue. We will continue to be loyal customers for as long as this gem is open. Thank you for everything! I would recommened the Canal Ritz to anyone and everyone looking for delicious, affordable food, for beauty and for a memorable dining experience.
Ive been here maybe 4 times. The view and seating area here is very unique here in ottawa. While the prices are on the higher end, youre paying for the view. The food here overall is good, but nothing exceptional. The service is always friendly too, very consistent overall! For parking, theyve got a parking lot right opposite the restaurant where you can park for free which is convenient!
A great place to go for that special occasion with its spectacular canal side location, tasty food (such as the pictured Tortellini with Figs), great desserts, good wines, friendly staff and moderate prices for the combination. The patio is lovely during the warm months especially at sunset – Go Romantic here!
