Family diner that real foodies should take a pass on. Good quality vegetables in the house salad are drowned in vinegar and the kebabs here (lamb and beef) have a strong gamey flavour. Not sure, but perhaps it has something to do with being halal meat. Side of humus is okay, bland spices on the meat served on an uninspired bed of rice.
Great food and great service. From the moment we entered we were greated warmly , very friendly ! They offer many delicious dishes. I had the shrimp kebab. The shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly with great Mediterranean flavours. I also had the garden salad which had the most amazing homemade dressing ever ! This is a must try if you like true greek food !
Hidden gem in Ottawa south. My dad introduced me to the Caveau after he discovered their awesome fresh fish menu. They have many great entres to choose from including salmon, red snapper and halibut. I had the halibut fish and chips and it was very tasty! The service is friendly and the restaurant has a very calm atmosphere. Great place to have diner and conversation with friends and family.
Finally a restaurant with Real seafood and not over price ,You Got to eat ! 10/10. Finally a restaurant in my neighborhood where i can find excellent and fresh and healthy food ! I ate there a couple times already and i am impress everytime i go . The cleaness of the restaurant is outstanding and the service is exceptional .The staff is extremely welcoming and humble ! I have tried couple of dishes on the the menu and my favorite so far is the shrimp skewers and the fish and chip for a quick lunch .The desert bar is amazing and so fresh . Everything is homemade by the kitchen staff .I would recommend this restaurant to anybody that loves middle eastern/ Greek food . By far 10/10 for the prices , amazing service and the freshness of the food
Caveau Mediterraneen. My wife and I ate there today for lunch , super good service and the food was excellent. definitely a go back to place for a quiet , and a very good meal..and friendly staff. after a 50 mile drive it topped my day..
Ottawa newest franchise great. Not many restuyrant in ottawa if any is clean and beautiful has this one , the service is excellent and the chefs in the food prep from what i have learened they are among the best i recommend to everyone try there salmon grill and thr grill vegatables
Probably not again. Pros: Staff were very friendlyCons: Cost vs amount of food sucked. I got take out and was so angry when i got home. 15 bucks and literally 4 quarter-sized chicken cubes and a handful of lettuce. For that kind of money i could of gotten 2 shwarmas and a drink. Serves me right for trying something new, i cant stand getting ripped off.
