A wonderfully decorated Italian place, we started with the Bacon Lollipops and the beef tartare Sfizi (appetizers). They are so good, originals, tasty and well presented. From 4 to 7 pm every app is 7$ which is an amazing deal especially for tartare!Pizza was great, crispy crust and tasty toppingsHighly recommend.

Management really needs to step up their game. On a Friday night at the end of the Redblacks game, make sure you have enough servers to handle the crowds coming in. This ain’t your first rodeo. Our server was really friendly and attentive (as much as she could be when she has to handle a bunch of tables at once) and the decor is beautiful, but the dining experience left much to be desired. The overall quality of the food was above average (except for the pasta which lacked flavourand parmesan cheese, it took forever to bring back to the kitchen to fix) but such small portions for the price. The gnocchi poutine was decent but it looked pathetic in terms of presentation and how little space it took up in the bowl. Even if it was double the portion, $13 would still be too expensive for it. Ridiculous. The beef tartare was tasty but again, super small portions for the price, however the salmon tartare was served at a decent portion. This is the second time I’ve been here and in terms food quality, it hasn’t changed. Definitely not worth the price. Won’t be returning.

I went there tonight for a friends birthday, our group was about 15. With the exception of them not having the wine I wanted, everything before dinner was good- the alternate wine suggestion and my appetizer- I ordered the Arancini. For dinner I ordered Pollo Alla Parmigiana- when it arrived there was barely any pasta on my plate, it took awhile for someone to finally come, the waitress didn’t understand what was wrong so she got the manager and he didn’t say much at all. When my replacement came out the pasta was not cooked and the chicken was dry and burnt, I sent it back.In the end my meal was comped but the manager remained quit silent and didn’t even apologize.

My wife and daughter and I went to Industria on Labour Day just before 6:30pm. We were very excited because the restaurant is beautiful inside. That initial impression is where the excitement stopped. There were no occupied tables inside and the patio was half full (around 20 patrons total) yet we waited 5 minutes for a hostess to notice us and seat us. We were there with our one year old and I told the hostess it’s very important that we get a high chair ASAP because she was being fussy and she always calms down in a chair. She told us no problem, the server will bring it when she comes. We sat on the patio and waited fifteen minutes for our server. No high chair. I told her ‘i’m sorry but it’s really important that we get a high chair right away’. She quickly took our order and disappeared for another ten minutes. At that point we had to walk away, we had been at the (nearly empty) restaurant for half an hour and hadn’t gotten the high chair, a drink, or anything. Too bad!

First visit was last Saturday (game day). Was quickly sat at a table. The service was good. Ordered the sausage pizza, it had two tiny bits of sausage on the whole thing. The sangria pitcher tasted like water ($25) no booze whatsoever. Each table offers a garlic oil, parm and hot pepper flakes…when asked was only given one out three…would have loved to add as much as possible to the almost non-existent toppings. Overall it was the tasty.

A wonderfully decorated Italian brasserie in Lansdowne. Its split in half into one bar section and one dining section. The decor is very nice and classy and around dinner time – late night, it has almost a lounge / club feel to it with music blasting from the outside and the same (although a bit more muted) playing on the inside. The dishes are all in Italian but the server can explain if you are unfamiliar with the varieties of pasta offered , which I found to be not terrible but I’ve had better. They don’t have a dessert menu so you have to ask the server but when I went , the desserts seemed to all be served in mason jars. Tiramisu was fabulous.

I went to industria with my fianc on Valentine’s Day. We had been given a gift certificate for Christmas and thought we would check it out. Upon walking in the building is quite astonishing. They had done a wonderful job with the decor and atmosphere. The high ceilings, the big wood tables, the lit up wine bar, the large TVs, the lighting, the white painted brick etc. We spent the first 10 minutes raving to each other about every little detail. We ordered two glasses of wine (which were wonderful, on the pricier side). NBA all star game was on TV and the music was awesome. Then we ordered a calamari. Nothing fabulous, tiny portion for two to share and the mustard dipping sauce was bad. We each ordered pizzas, which sounded delicious but we were disappointed after our first bite, could have made one better at home. Very cool idea to serve on the wood panel and cut the pizza with scissors (which was so much easier to cut and apparently that is how the chef cut his pizza when he was little!) The service was amazing! All in all – everything, but the food, was incredible. Great location, great atmosphere, great decor, great service – But they could use a revamp of the menu!
