Too much hype. I often find that authentic restaurants start with a bang but like any firecracker it fizzles out. I was informed la mexicanada was an amazing authentic Mexican restaurant which is always intriguing cause who the hell doesn’t like a good taco! We were informed about the wait time so we went for a quick lunch on our way back to colling wood. The place atmospher was to be expected like a piata threw up. No big. Service which I couldn’t believe we’re 2 poor hygienic looking guys eg no matching shirts unshaven and oblivious to service even on a fast food level. Food was over priced old elpaso, pretty sure presentation is a key element to success, which there is a compleat lack there of. I understand the globe and mail have given these guys an excellent review but let’s take into consideration that it was in 2009 obviously they have fired their food critic or a lot has changed and they are riding the coat tails of reviews gone past. Do yourself a favour and enjoy a bull dog and one of the many amazing dishes at Made in Mexico far superior to Bradford’s second distant umm never mind not even in the race! Btw the cook smoking out front was the kicker!! Eat at own risk.
