There’s much debate on the better local sushi place: 168 or Tokyo Maki…?I’m Team Tokyo Maki!! I’ve been to 168 a few times (to be fair I didn’t want to judge on 1 experience) and each time was worse than the last. The environment isn’t very welcoming to start. It’s very cold/bland. The service isn’t that great. Sat for quite a while before my drink order was taken. The menu sounds interesting but the taste of the items lack punch. Also, this 168 is part of a chain of restaurants and I’ve actually been to the location in London, Ontario. The London location is AWESOME and offers many interesting and delicious options, in addition to providing a hip and trendy, well-decorated environment. I actually love when I have an opportunity to go to the London location. So it comes as an even bigger disappointment when the Brampton location is so lack luster. Don’t waste your time at 168 (unless you’re going to London). Tokyo Maki is the far better choice in Brampton
