Best Trini Food in Brampton. Went last Saturday for the first time and although is real small place, the lady and her son were so welcoming and friendly. Had the break fast special, roti, bodi with potato, bhagi, tomato choka and channa. The food was so tasty and you can tell they cook with heart and passion. I really enjoyed the meal and it took me back home with fond memories. It was a truly home cooked meal. The roti was fresh made and piping hot when it came to my table. The portion size was adequate and I even took home leftovers for lunch. I am definitely gong back for my Saturday morning breakfast next weekend. Glad to find another hidden Tini gem in Brampton.
Unexpected surprise. I recently stopped by this restaurant in this unassuming plaza at Williams Parkway and Torbram. I ordered a chicken roti and found the quality to be excellent. The roti was soft and moist and the chicken very tasty and very reasonably priced. I have since ordered roti skins from them and found that the service was quite pleasant. I have frequented another more popular restaurant in Brampton for my rotis, but found that the wait time and absolute lack of customer service, most repulsive. The restaurant does not offer dine in, but it is clean and the owners quite pleasant. I definitely recommend this restaurant as it is my new ‘go to’ for authentic Trini food. Would recommend that the owner of the plaza invest into revamping the building and parking lot, as at first glance it gives one the impression of neglect and can deter potential customers from stopping in.
Great Customer service and food. I’ve been to many West Indian / Caribbean restaurants in Brampton and surrounding areas, when in comes to down home cooking, none of the big guns can compare to Authentic Trini. The food is like moms cooking with the right amount of spices and flavor, the curry chicken brings back the smell and tastes of a Sunday lunch. Their roti is second to none, texture, color, size and smell, makes it melt in your mouth with that first bite. The owners would welcome you as a guest and not just a customer, they’re humble and willing to accommodate any orders. Please try them.
