Rick Matharu won the second season of Recipe to Riches on The Food Network and runs a samosa and biryani popup shop at BriSkit on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Hearing all the word about the samosas, my friend and I drove all the way out to Brampton to try them. To put it in simple the samosas were absolutely delicious! I tried the Dosa Samosa, which was ridiculously tasty, the Chana Samosa, which was also very good, and my favourite of all the Rasmalai Cheesecake Samosa. Let me just take a moment to rave about how incredible the Rasmalai Cheesecake Samosas were. Theyre filled with a creamy and rich cheese filling and coated with a generous amount of cinnamon sugar. Everyone must try these! The crust on all the samosas were unique to other samosas Ive tried and they were perfectly seasoned. Man I would definitely drive back to Brampton to grab some again!

Disappointing. Was there for lunch ordered a corn beef sandwich. I was only person in the place. I waited twenty minutes. Sandwich was on toasted rye bread corned beef was fried and tough couldn’t eat it. it looked like it came out f a cry vac pouch. I don’t believe anything is slow cooked.

You can tell the owner really enjoys cooking. Had a burger and the pulled pork sandwich. Was also given a sample of the brisket. It was all great but was most impressed with the brisket. The only negative wasnt really that bad-one of the buns was a bit thicker than I would have preffered. Looking forward to trying fish Friday. We need more small owner places like this.

Tasty, Home cooked, Friendly. Went there for lunch. Tried the pulled pork and brisket sandwich. I preferred the brisket but the pulled pork was good too. Fries were on point. Everything tasted fresh and the service was great. Nice little joint for some filling freshly cooked sandwiches. Cant wait to try the entire menu.

Best sandwich ever. If they weren’t so filling I’d have two or three. Briskit sandwich is my favorite!

Yummy. Seriously, the best sandwich I ever had. I can’t believe this place is only 5 minutes from where I work, and I only found out about it on Friday. Great service and outstanding food.
