Great Tasting Food is what our family is know for. Paul Sarwan grew up in family that earned their dailly bread selling home made fantastic food in Guyana. Its not the recipe, its not the person, its not the cleanliness of the surroundings but the LOVE infused when making those meals. He cooked with passion and enthusiasm. This is the only way for me to reach all you amazing friends, customers and people who truly care about the loss of his life. Senseless and cruel. He’s been gone just over 3 months now and hundreds of you have reached out to our familly to express your shock, condolences and loss of dear friend and colleague. Thank you all for your care and concern. In God we Trust! Thanks and Blessings to you all. This rating is not about the food as I’ve not tasted the food here – it’s just to be able to express our family’s appreciation to your kindness-each and everyone of you.

Fantastic!. Had a craving for doubles and phoulori, my usual place was closed for a week. We decided to try Molly’s, although it was out of our area. The phoulories were soft and seasoned to perfection; the doubles were tasty, without that floury taste. Well everyone thoroughly enjoyed them! I haven’t tried the rotis yet, but if it is anything like the what we’ve had, then we’ll be making Mollys our regular roti spot!,
Awesome Jerk Chicken. First off Paul is a very friendly cook and owner, not to mention down to earth. I had never had roti before so this was an experience. I have had plenty Caribbean food so I am not completely in the dark. First day I tried a jerk chicken roti w/o potatoes. A couple days later I came back and tried curry chicken roti, curry goat roti, a double and another jerk chicken roti…well I got it mild for my wife and it was too warm for her but let’s start from the beginning. The jerk chicken roti on my first day I ordered hot and by no means was it close to mild! I am a hot pepper veteran so it was right up my alley but if you are not into serious heat you might not want to ask for hot. Molly’s jerk is the most flavourful I have ever tried. IMO the best thing Molly’s has to offer. Paul explained his jerk is hand blended and it took him a while to come up with the recipe. The potatoes are curry so I opted to do without so not to mingle tastes. The only thing I can say that isn’t a positive is they are a bit messy if you like to eat while you drive or eat in a nice shirt. The sauce started to run out the bottom. The next day I was honestly day dreaming about the jerk. Onto the next visit. The goat is very tender and bone in which made me a bit nervous about having it in a roti but it worked out just fine. The curry at Molly’s isn’t bad but nothing to right home about. About standard. The double was tasty but a mess. I am not really sure how you are supposed to eat them but I made it happen. With the jerk too hot for my wife and she doesn’t like curry the amount of food we got I ended up with left overs. I can honestly say rotis eaten cold the next day were great and cut down a little bit on the mess. Molly’s has a few items you don’t normally see like duck, fish and shrimp. They also make a couple hot sauces, one for in the store and one jarred for sale. They are a bit hard to find so once you enter the plaza head to the corner closets to the intersection, tucked back in the corner.Make sure you try the jerk!!
Good doubles, great Rotis’. My wife and I go here quite a bit. She’s a vegetarian so it’s a fit for both of us.If you get a chance, try the doubles! They are awesome! We’ve tried other Roti places and Molly’s rates pretty high on our comeback list. The roti’s here are quite large so be prepared to share. If you like hot, ask for it. If you don’t like it spicy, make sure you tell them or else it can end up being hot (hotte)You can always find good food, great service and good prices at Molly’s.
