The best Pho I have had in Brampton yet. It was perfectly salted, the beef was tender but the spice level could be improved. They had fish sauce, chilli etc for assistance there. I ordered a medium since I didnt know of the quantities and I couldnt finish the bowl. There were the surprise red onions as toppings when the food arrived which was surprisingly quickly even though we had reached around the end of the lunch hour. Btw the restaurant was super busy at the time and slowly started clearing up around 1. I mean we were luckily to be seated right when we got in but looking at how busy it was, I wouldnt have been surprised if I had to wait. Which I wouldnt mind at all. In fact I cant wait to go back.
We were heading back home through Brampton, looking for a place for dinner, and we spotted Pho Mi 66. There were three of us, and we quickly agreed to the Vietnamese option. Turns out that this is a very new restaurant, and they also have Thai cuisine on their menu. This is one of those restaurants where you write down you selections and quantities on a small form, and then you give your form to one of the servers. First a complementary pot of green tea was brought to the table. Then we entered the following on our little form:A5. Deep Fried Spring RollsT26. Pad Thai Beef with Rice NoodleB117. Beef Sauted Vegetables (sic)C124. Sauteed Chicken with Cashew NutsOur plan was to eat family style, where we had some of each of the dishes. I guess this is not the norm, because we had to ask for 3 plates so we could divvy up the food. Our appetizer (spring rolls) showed up after the main dishes. The food itself was all tasty. I liked the spring rolls the best. While they were substantial in size, the filling was a bit lighter and less dense that others I have had.
