The Spot is a great little neighborhood bar on the corner of Airport and Bovaird. They have a patio!! The staff and service is friendly and awesome and there’s a great drink selection. It never seems too crowded so it’s a great spot to chill out. They have a light bar food menu and daily specials. It brings in a friendly local crowd and lots of regulars. If you’re in the neighborhood, I highly recommend stopping in for a beer.
Fantastic new joint that’s taken over the space previously occupied by Castle Sports Bar. Previous owners didn’t do a good job of looking after the place or their customers and like all restaurants that don’t put in the effort they flopped. A former staff member now owns the joint and is making significant efforts to renovate, improve, and really make it a dining/lounge destination for everyone – not just the neighborhood regulars.Good food, friendly staff, and the only patio in the area. What a relief to have a spot that’s both locally owned and operated instead of just another SwissJack EastMileKelseys or CaseysMrkt like all the other restaurants in this area.
