Prices are reasonable and the food quality is great. Good selection, very fresh. Nice tapenade and hot peppers with sliced sourdough bread. The halibut batter isn’t too thick and has a surprising but delicious addition of curry. The salmon and shrimp were perfectly cooked. Enjoyed a lentil soup that wasn’t over salted but had a great smooth flavour and texture. Also liked the seafood pasta (reasonable amount of fish and a simple marinara sauce) and chicken stirfry. Hidden gem in the neighbourhood!

All around good experience. My wife and I ate at The Bistro last week. Needless to say we had a great dining experience right from when we walked in to when we left. We weren’t sure quite what to expect but saw an advertisement during the summer and decided to try it out. My wife ordered the Ahi Tuna Crisps and I ordered the Lamb Lollipops as appetizers. I think it took about 5 mins for them to get to us and even less time then that to finish eating them! I dont even think we came up for air until it was time to order the Entrees. For our Entree I ordered the Canadian AAA Striploin and I must say it was the best steak I’ve had in a very long time. We asked our server where they get the meat, he was a bit secretive but did say they butcher and age the meat in house. The proof is in the meat it was fantastic. My wife ordered the Miso Glazed Halibut and didn’t say a word the whole time. I jokingly told her that she needs to chew her food before swallowing…the dish was amazing. Overall our experience was fantastic, the atmosphere in the bistro is very relaxed, they even have a fireplace you can sit beside in the great room, which is normally set for a more fine dining affair. The staff were very friendly and gave us tons of information about the entire club; Golf, Fitness, Squash etc. I haven’t played the golf course yet but by the sounds of it, I’ll be first in line in the spring. Thanks to Riverstone and all their staff, kudos to the Chef who apparently came from St. Georges. No wonder the food was so good. I highly recommend The Bistro at Riverstone to everyone.
