Excellent food but…. I went to Fanzorelli’s last Saturday for a relaxed dinner with my family before going to the The Rose for a show starting at 21h.We had a reservation for five at 19h. The reservation was logged incorrectly as being for four however this was quickly sorted out once we arrived. Both at the time of placing the reservation and once we were seated we were asked if we were going to The Rose afterwards. We placed our orders for appetizers and main courses before 19h15. Our main courses did not arrive until 20h25. The food, once it arrived, was very good, but we had to bolt it down in order to get to the theatre in time to be seated for the curtain going up.For a restaurant that advertises itself as a pre-theatre dining venue this is a very serious shortcoming. Our waitress was extremely apologetic and the bill did get discounted quite reasonably, but the manager declined to come out to hear what I had to tell him about his establishment. We will not be going here again if we are on any kind of schedule.
We were pleasantly surprised. The service and food was fantastic. I ordered tha Zuppa and barely made a dent in it. The takeout container was the size of a lasagna tray. The seafood, the sauce, bread, and pasta was incredible. I will go back and try something else on the menu.
Cool Place!!. My girlfriend & I went to a show at the Rose Theatre and when asked where to eat the woman working there told us to try Fanzorelli’s, I’m glad we did. We are from Toronto and this place would fit right in on College st, the food was fantastic along with a great server and atmosphere. We had antipasto & grilled calamari to start and then pasta and pizza for dinner awesome!! the server new it was a date night and didn’t push us, I will definately be back.
Excellent excellent excellent food. If you love lamb, you have to go there. Good service, good prices.
I’ve eaten at Fanzorelli’s a few times now and the food is always excellent. The portions are large enough that chances are you’ll have food for lunch the next day an service is always friendly. I’m not a pasta fan at all but their curry orechetti is fantastic. Nice location in downtown Brampton with Gage Park just down the street and Rose Theatre around the corner. Will be even nicer in the future with the Brampton Civic Center being built directly across the street.
A nice place. This is a fairly busy place, but on a Thursday evening we were able to get a seats without a reservation. Our server Frances was attentive and made nice conversation. The atmosphere was nice with a pub kind of feel that made it welcoming. The washrooms were well kept.We ordered mostly from the specials menu. The soups were hearty and flavourful, and the mains were rich and plentiful. Overall I would say the food quality was very good but over priced for what is essentially pasta and pizza type menu items. It cost over $100 for the two of us. We order appetizers, main and dessert with no alcoholic beverages. One thing we did not like was the dessert they tried to pass off as a Crme Brule. It was kind of soupy with some fruit in it. It had a consistency more like yoghurt and the flavour was all wrong. The sugar glaze on top floated around like an ice flow. I wouldn’t order that again.
First-rate Fanzorelli’s. I have been a frequent visitor to Fanzorelli’s since I moved into the area in 1999. In all the years of dining there I have NEVER been disappointed with the food, the service, or the owner Anthony. I have brought many friends and family members to this establishment and I continue to recommend it to people who ask me for restaurant suggestions in Brampton.Whether its lunch, dinner, or a couple of drinks at the bar, I am served promptly and treated with class and respect. If the restaurant is busy and Anthony is unavailable to greet us with a smile at the door he always finds the time to come over and make sure we are being taken care of and asks if our food is cooked to our liking. Any special menu requests are always taken care of, from the cook of my steak to the extra chocolate sauce on my dessert. I have been to the restaurant many times when it has been busy and the staff does their best to accommodate us as quickly and professionally as they can. Once seated, our order is taken immediately and we always end up having an amazing meal and evening out. From appetizers, to the main course, and even to delectable desserts, the menu at Fanzorelli’s offers -something for everyone. Seafood, chicken, steak, or pasta, every palate can be satisfied. The pizza is to die for!!! The gluten-free menu is also a fantastic option for my friends who have special dietary needs. Not many restaurants offer that in the menu, so for that reason alone, Fanzorellis stands above others in Brampton. Classy, casual, and comfortable, to me, Fanzorelli’s is like coming home. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and so would my 6 year old daughter, who can’t get enough of the mussels! Fanzorellis is a first-rate restaurant.
